Teaching Real Skills for Real Markets
We started neurthrive because too many people were losing money following flashy promises and empty courses. Back in 2019, we saw friends get burned by schemes that made trading sound like a slot machine—just pull the lever and watch money appear.
That bothered us. Markets aren't magic, but they're not impossible either. They're patterns, psychology, discipline. And that's what we teach.
How We Got Here
Three of us met at a trading conference in Bangkok in early 2019. We'd all been teaching finance in different ways—Lisbeth at universities, Rafferty running private workshops, and our third partner consulting for small businesses trying to understand cash flow.
What we noticed? Everyone had the same problem. People didn't lack intelligence or motivation. They lacked clear, honest guidance. Most education in this space was either academic theory with zero practical application, or get-rich-quick garbage designed to sell courses, not build skills.
We wanted something in between. Real concepts taught in plain language. Practice that actually resembles what you'll face with your own money. And zero hype about guaranteed returns or secret systems.
What Guides Our Work
Honesty First
We don't promise results we can't control. Trading involves risk, and anyone who says otherwise is lying. We teach you to manage that risk, not ignore it.
Practical Focus
Every lesson connects to something you'll actually do. We skip theory that sounds smart but serves no purpose. If it doesn't help you make better decisions, it's not in our curriculum.
Student Respect
You're here to learn, not to be sold to. We treat your time and money seriously. Our courses include real examples, real mistakes we've made, and real solutions that work.
Our Teaching Method
Start Simple
We begin with basic concepts. Not because we're dumbing things down, but because foundations matter. You can't analyze a balance sheet if you don't understand what revenue means.
Build Gradually
Each lesson builds on the previous one. We move from reading charts to spotting patterns, then to understanding why those patterns happen, and finally to developing your own approach based on what fits your personality.
Practice Constantly
Theory alone won't help when you're staring at a decision. We use simulations, case studies, and review sessions where you analyze real trades—both successful ones and disasters.
Meet the Team
We're a small group, which is intentional. We wanted to stay involved in teaching rather than building a corporate machine. Here's who you'll work with.
Lisbeth Kowalczyk
Head of Education
Lisbeth taught economics at two universities before joining us. She has a gift for breaking down complex ideas into language that actually makes sense. She designed most of our core curriculum and leads our beginner programs.
Rafferty Lindström
Trading Curriculum Lead
Rafferty spent twelve years trading for a prop firm before switching to education. He's brutally honest about what works and what doesn't. He handles our advanced modules and runs monthly review sessions where students dissect real market scenarios.
What You Can Expect From Us
When you join one of our programs, you're not just buying videos. You're getting access to people who care about your progress and a community of others learning alongside you.
We don't rush through material to pad course length. Each module has a clear purpose. We include practical exercises that force you to apply concepts immediately. And we're available to answer questions—not through some ticket system, but through direct communication.
- Clear explanations without unnecessary jargon
- Real examples from actual market situations
- Regular feedback on your practice work
- Access to our team for questions and guidance
- Monthly group sessions to review challenges
- Resources you can return to as you develop
